Isn't it amazing how teens can often solve mysteries that baffle even the smartest adult?  Isn't it amazing how they can get themselves into trouble - and then get out of it?  Isn't it amazing how they can start secret clubs unknown even to their immediate close-knit families?  Follow the adventures of Jenny and her friends, Peter and Liza, as they form the Paranormal Club to solve ghostly mysteries that seem to spring up wherever they go.

Jenny Baker, newly transplanted from Chicago to the small town of Sprucehaven, Colorado, discovers that the old house her family has moved into is apparently haunted.  But not by any ordinary ghost.  Jenny doesn't really believe in ghosts but is convinced by her new friends Peter and Liza that they should form the secret Paranormal Club just to see if there really is some spirit or something more explainable.  What they uncover is a shocking trail of events linking to World War II, Nazi Germany, spies, a tragic accident - and the ghost.

Ghost Child is the first in the series of Paranormal Club adventures - only the first.
"Not another ghost!" Yes, Jenny, another ghost. You see, the Sprucehaven Inn is haunted. This time there are many ghosts and one is very angry and particularly dangerous. In fact, the very life of your good friend is in grave peril because of him. But let me warn you - before it's over the Paranormal Club will be a witness to one of the most shockingly evil events in the history of our great country.  Are you sure the Paranormal Club wants to solve the mystery of the haunted Sprucehaven Inn? After all, you have been warned.

The Haunting of Sprucehaven Inn is the second in the series of Paranormal club adventures.

Hi, this is Barbara Norton, the author of the Paranormal Club mystery adventures for young adults.  I've always loved telling stories, and especially ghost stories.  There is something about the paranormal that captivates us all.  Maybe it's the fact that we can't really know what happens in the afterlife.  Maybe it's because there are strange things out there that we can't explain in spite of the enlightened times in which we live.  Maybe it's because - well, we don't need any "becauses".  It's fun.  It's just plain fun to think about ghosts, goblins, ESP, hauntings, etc.  We can get scared but not too scared since there aren't any such things as ghosts.  Or are there?

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the stories about Jenny and her friends - and her ghosts.
